Bicycle Mechanic

At Cycle Enthusiast, we are seeking a Bicycle Mechanic to lead the workshop operations. The candidate will be expected to perform a diverse range of bicycle services.

Responsibilities

• Perform full bike overhauls, tune-ups, and safety checks.
• Service bottom brackets, headsets, hubs, and wheels, including wheel truing and wheel building.
• Adjust gears and brakes, including brake bleeding.
• Clean, lubricate, and hot-wax chains and drivetrains.
• Install tires, tubes, tubeless and tubular setups, and bar tape.
• Assemble new bikes and transfer parts between frames.
• Install and fit components, including chains, cassettes, saddles, and pedals.
• Perform basic and advanced bike fitting for customers.
• Fill purchase orders for various inventory items and help maintain inventory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a bicycle mechanic.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine cycling enthusiast.
